Dear collaborator:

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 April ("General Data Protection Regulation" or "GDPR"), and Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, we inform you of the processing that we will carry out, as data controllers of your personal data, from the moment you fill in this form and submit information.

If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please do not fill out the form or submit your responses.

DATA PROCESSING PURPOSES FOR COLLABORATORS OF THE WCA

Your personal data will be used for the sole purpose of coordinating with you to organize activities related to the World Citizens' Assembly project.

We will not process your personal data for any purpose other than the above unless required by law or court order.

You are free to refuse to provide us with this data, not to fill in the questionnaire or, subsequently, to revoke the consent previously granted to process your data, although such refusal implies the impossibility of participating in World Citizens’ Assembly activities.

The data controller (us) understands that by providing us with this data, you guarantee and are responsible for the truthfulness, timeliness and accuracy of the same and that you accept and expressly consent to its processing for the purpose described above.

DURATION OF DATA PROCESSING

The data controller (us) will keep and process your personal data collected until the end of the project. Currently the duration of the project is indefinite; therefore there is no date on which your data will be deleted. In case the project ends, your data will be deleted.


LEGITIMACY OF DATA PROCESSING 

The legal basis for the processing of data is the legitimacy based on your consent (given once you send us your data through the questionnaire) for the purposes described above.


RECIPIENTS OF ASSIGNMENTS OR TRANSFERS.

In general, the controller (us) will not transfer your personal data to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so or you have expressly authorized us to do so.


RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUALS

Once you send us your data, you may exercise the following rights before the data controller (us):

  • Right of access: allows you to know and obtain information about your personal data undergoing processing.

  • Right of rectification: allows you to correct errors, modify data that prove to be inaccurate or incomplete and ensure the accuracy of the information undergoing processing.

  • Right of erasure: allows you to request the deletion of data undergoing processing when it is no longer necessary.

  • Right of opposition: you have the right not to have your personal data processed or to cease processing, except for legitimate reasons or for the exercise or defense of possible claims, in which case we will keep them blocked for the corresponding period while legal obligations persist.

  • Right of opposition: you may oppose the sending of any communications by the responsible party (us). In that case you can revoke your consent to receive these notifications at any time using the mechanism implemented for that purpose in the same, or by sending an email with the subject "Unsubscribe" to info@worldassembly.org.

  • Limitation of processing: In certain circumstances, you may request the limitation of the processing of your data, in which case your data will only be kept for the exercise or defense of claims.

  • Data portability: you may request to receive the data concerning you that you have provided to us or - where technically possible - to have your data sent to another data controller of your choice, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

  • Right not to be subject to automated individual decisions (including profiling): your right not to be subject to a decision based on automated processing that produces effects or significantly affects you.

You have the possibility to complain to the Supervisory Authority: The controller (us) also informs you of your right to send a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.agpd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with current regulations.
