Open call for participants for the “tester assembly”

Hello from the World Citizen’s Assembly team! We are a group of researchers, democracy experts and activists carrying out a citizen governance initiative in order to understand and face global challenges. We would like to ask you to take  part in one of the pilot assemblies we are creating to discuss pressing global issues.

We will form several online groups of about 6-7 people each that will meet for several online sessions (exact dates and quantity to be defined depending on the availability of the participants) for  1.5/2 hours each.

The first step to join this adventure is to respond to a short survey. We’re conducting these surveys because we want to guarantee that all kinds of people are included in the project—you do not need to have specific training or knowledge about politics, societal issues or economics. The group should be representative of the World’s reality. Survey respondents will be drawn for selection at random, then confirmed to participate depending on their demographic profile. In case you are selected we will contact you soon.

If you don’t feel comfortable responding to a certain question, you may feel free to deny a response. However, this will most likely limit the possibility of you being selected to participate, because we will not be able to confirm the group’s diversity due to missing information. With your consent, we will keep this information confidential with all the security measures determined by the UE data protection legislation. Your information will be used only to decide if you are eligible to participate. Further, only team members with capabilities in data protection will have access to this information.

Please, it is crucial to read our privacy policy before submitting.
